Thimphu, Bhutan, 10 February 2015: Southtech Limited is proud to announce that Southtech (Bhutan) Private Limited (SBPL) has started its journey in Bhutan on the 5th February 2015. SBPL is a sister concern of Southtech Limited and has its office premises at the Thimphu TechPark in Babesa.
His Excellency Mr. Lyonpo D.N. Drungyel, honorable Minister of the Ministry of Information and Communications of the Royal Government of Bhutan, graced the inauguration ceremony as the Chief Guest. His Excellency Mr. Jishnu Roy Chowdhury, Ambassador of People’s Republic of Bangladesh to the Kingdom of Bhutan also attended the ceremony as a special guest.
The ceremony at Thimphu TechPark had an impressive array of guests in attendance that included senior officials from banking and financial and IT sectors of Bhutan. Following the short ceremony, the chief guest and special guest inaugurated the office premise of SBPL and officially adorned Mr. Pema Tashi as the CEO of the new company.
Mr. Syed Maqbul Quader (Chairman of Southtech Limited), Mr. Syed Mamnun Quader (MD and CEO of Southtech Limited) and Mrs. Humaira Quader (Director of Southtech Limited) were in attendance for this auspicious occasion.
