1 April, Dhaka: Southtech Limited signed an agreement with Sagarika Samaj Unnayan Sangastha (SSUS) on 28th March, 2019 for the implementation of Southtech Ascend Financials. SSUS is a non-governmental organization working towards poverty alleviation using micro finance loan and disaster risk reduction mainly focused in regions of Noakhali, Laxmipur and Feni district.
Southtech Ascend Financials, a centralized web-based banking and microfinance management system is the contemporary solution for financial institutions and development organizations. Mr. Saiful Islam, Executive Director of SSUS said, “We have been using Southtech’s microfinance management system since 2011. We have found their solution to be extremely robust which has enabled us to expand with a head office and 40 branches to date. I believe with Ascend Financials, an upgrade from their previous desktop version, we will be able to expand even faster”.
